Design Your Own Fire Station
Ages 4-8
A blank fire station, waiting for a designer. The building is drawn with its bay doors, windows and a big empty sign, and the rest is up to your child: decorate the sign, add a flag, and draw a fire truck pulling out of the bay.
Open-ended sheets like this one work differently from a matching or counting page. There is no right answer to check, so it is a good choice when you want a quiet twenty minutes rather than a quiz. The bonus challenge at the bottom asks for a firefighter beside the building, which is usually where the storytelling starts.
